This page explains what Sortivo stores in your browser when you visit this website, and how the cookie banner controls it.

What we actually use today

This site doesn't currently set any cookies at all, including the verification check on the contact form. Your choice in the cookie banner (accept, reject, or your customised preference) is saved using your browser's local storage, not a cookie — it stays on your device and isn't sent to us. Cookie rules apply to local storage in the same way they apply to cookies, so we treat it the same way here.

Google Analytics isn't switched on for this site yet. Once it is, accepting analytics will let Google Analytics 4 load and set its own cookies to measure site usage (pages viewed, general location, device type) — but only after you accept, never before, and only once analytics has actually been enabled. If you reject or ignore the banner, no analytics runs. We haven't enabled Google Signals or advertising features in Google Analytics, so analytics data won't be used for ad personalisation.

We don't use advertising or marketing cookies, and we don't sell data collected through cookies to third parties.

Cookie and storage table

We've verified that Cloudflare, including the human-verification check on our contact form, doesn't set any cookie or device-storage identifier on this site — checked directly in browser storage across every page. If that changes, we'll add it to this table.

Google Analytics and international processing

Google Analytics is provided by Google. User-level and event-level analytics data (such as the kind used for Explorations-style reporting) is retained for up to 2 months; standard aggregated reports aren't affected by this setting. Google may process the usage information described above outside Kenya and the UK, including in the United States, under Standard Contractual Clauses supplemented for UK GDPR transfers. Our hosting provider

This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process minimal technical data (such as your IP address) as part of delivering the site securely and reliably — this is necessary for the site to function and isn't something the cookie banner controls.

Changing your preference

You can change your cookie preference at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of every page.

If what this site stores in your browser changes, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
